The Biosecurity portion of our Workshop will focus on the hypothetical scenario of a QFF discovery in Mt Wellington. MPI will take us through the impact on national fresh fruit and vegetable movement.
They will provide valuable insight, strategy and practicality if such a situation should arise, enabling members to develop contingency plans.
A Food Safety & Traceability update will be provided including our Strawberry Traceability Pilot. We will also report on the Yersinia Review that we are currently working on with MPI (see next article for more on this review).
A legal expert from Simpson Grierson will bring us up to date with the latest in Food Law.
